Yes, all of our training courses are 100% online and self-paced, enabling you to log in and log out as you please during the access period.
The price of each of our ‘Certified Facilitator’ training programs are listed at the bottom of each of the relevant course pages on our website. We offer discounted rates for organisations or large groups who wish to enrol 3+ attendees into a training course with us. Yes, of course. Please send an email highlighting the course you wish to enrol in, along with your contact details to info@progressiveplay.com.au and an invoice can be forwarded to you. Enrolments are not activated until payment has been received in full.
No, however our payment platform does have PayPal as a payment option, and they offer a pay in 4 payment plan.
As noted on our course information pages, the access period of our LEGO® Based Therapy and LEGO® Serious Play® Facilitator Certification training courses is 3-months from time of enrolment.
The access period of our Dual Enrolment ‘Super Saver’ package is 5-months from the time of enrolment. NB: If you have enrolled online via credit card, the access period commences immediately.
If you have requested an invoice, the access period will commence following receipt of payment and from the time we manually enrol you. You will receive a welcome email when this occurs.
Yes, as per our ‘terms and conditions’ you may request an extension if required, there is a small nominal fee associated of $71.50 inclusive of GST for this request, which grants you an additional one month’s access (30 days). Please contact the team via email for all requests pertaining to extensions at info@progressiveplay.com.au
Our training platform is compatible with all devices and can be accessed via a PC, Tablet or Smart Phone. You will require a stable internet connection and a personal email / personal work email (for purposes of enrolment), this is where your welcome email will be sent and following your training your certificate as well.
Our ‘Certified Facilitator’ training courses are interactive and engaging. Our LEGO® Based Therapy training is divided into five comprehensive modules. The content covers topics such as: LEGO® Based Therapy methodology, learning playful facilitation skills, program delivery, implementation, facilitation, intake, observation and assessment and neurodiversity. The program also includes some short quizzes to help solidify your learning.
Both of our LEGO® Serious Play® training programs are divided into seven comprehensive modules. The content varies between the two (dependent on sector) however, both programs cover topics such as: the science, theory and history of the method, core processes, skills building, session planning and design, frameworks, facilitation, implementation and much more. Each of our LEGO® Serious Play® training programs include hands on activities and some short quizzes to help solidify your learning.

Our training courses have been adapted and further developed and are aimed at teaching health / allied health / mental health and early childhood practitioners, allied health assistants, behaviour support practitioners, social workers, nurses, counsellors, teachers, educators, support workers and carers about LEGO® Based Therapy and the LEGO® Serious Play® methodology and how to successfully implement and run your own LEGO® Based Therapy groups and or LEGO® Serious Play® workshops / sessions in your organisation with ease.
You will learn the core fundamental processes, advanced application techniques and supporting theories. As already mentioned, our training has been developed to be at an advanced level right from the get-go; there is no need to complete further training once completed.
The CPD allocation for our LEGO® Based Therapy training is 6.5 hrs., which is inclusive of online modules, readings and activities. The online component can be undertaken back-to-back in one sitting in as little as 3.5 – 4.5 hrs., with the research articles and readings able to be downloaded for review at a later time, some students do prefer to undertake the training this way, so they can implement the program as quickly as possible however, how you choose to undertake the training is up to you. We do recommend students take their time, so that a full understanding of the method can be obtained. You can log in and log out as you please and as time permits around your schedule.
Our LEGO® Serious Play® training attracts a 7.5 hr. CPD allocation, the course will take approx. 7.5 – 8.5hrs to complete. You have the benefit of being able to log in and log out as you please (picking back up where you last left off) enabling you to complete the training as time permits around your schedule.
Yes, if it has been more than 12 months since you completed your training, we do offer a refresher course for all previous students. NB: You must have been a previous student to access the refresher course.
There is a nominal fee of $71.50, inclusive of GST, to re-gain access to the updated training. To enrol in a refresher course, please contact us at info@progressiveplay.com.au, and we will send you an invoice. We also communicate major updates via our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn) to keep you informed about when a refresher might be beneficial.
Once you have completed your training, your activity log is reviewed, along with any required submission tasks, and if all requirements have been met, your certificate and digital badge will then be issued to you.
The LEGO® Starter kit includes 1 x small LEGO® Set and 2 x medium LEGO® Sets (Valued at approx. $69.95), and as of March 2025, we also include a deck of our LEGO® Based Therapy Session cards which have been professionally printed and boxed, (postage and handling is also included). The LEGO® brick sets we provide vary dependent on availability. NB: We do endeavor to provide our students with latest sets available at the time of your enrolment.
No, we do not sell LEGO® bricks sets. To purchase additional sets please visit the LEGO® store in your capital city, either online or in person. In addition, you may purchase LEGO® brick building sets from other major retailers / department stores.

No, we do not provide in-person / face-face training sessions. We transitioned to online training during the COVID-19 pandemic and have continued with this format. Our students tell us that they prefer this mode of delivery as not only does it offer a cost-effective solution for service providers, this approach enhances accessibility for our students and provides them with a more comprehensive learning experience compared to traditional 1-3 day in-person sessions.

We closely monitor each student's progress throughout their training. Before issuing any certificates, we review every student's activity log. If you have paid and attempted to quickly click through the course without fully completing it, you will be required to finish the training in its entirety before receiving your certificate.
No, our LEGO® Based Therapy training does not qualify you as a 'therapist'. The training teaches you to deliver and implement the LEGO® Based Therapy methods within your setting, enabling you to facilitate and run groups / brick clubs / programs for the children and young people you work with and support. On completion of your training, you will be a 'Certified Facilitator' of LEGO® Based Therapy.
Yes, our trainer is a multi-award winning, CPD accredited and nationally recognised trainer and assessor who is also a qualified / registered clinical nurse with over 20+ years of hands-on clinical experience, who holds postgraduate degrees in the field of mental health and disability with additional post graduate studies in autism and other neurodivergent conditions.
