Progressive Play®’s Therapeutic Applications in Mental Health program has been developed with contemporary Australian mental health, psychosocial and disability practice in mind.

Progressive Play®’s Facilitator Certification is designed to be practical, engaging and highly participatory, bringing together hands-on learning, reflection, application and purposeful facilitation.

You won’t simply learn about LEGO® Serious Play® - you’ll experience the methodology as you develop the knowledge and skills to facilitate it within your own professional context.

The program is 100% online and self-paced, allowing you to undertake your training from any device, anywhere in the world, around your professional, family and other commitments.

This 100% online, self-paced Facilitator Certification teaches the core processes, application techniques and supporting principles of the LEGO® Serious Play® methodology together with its expanded therapeutic and mental health applications.

Prior LEGO® Serious Play® facilitation experience is not required.

Completing Facilitator Certification does not provide an additional clinical, therapeutic or other regulated professional qualification.

Facilitators should apply the methodology appropriately within their existing qualifications, competence, professional role, responsibilities and scope of practice.

Prior facilitation experience or previous LEGO® Serious Play® training is not required.

You do not need advanced LEGO® building skills.

LEGO® MATERIALS REQUIRED

LEGO® materials are not included with this training.

To complete the practical components of the course, you will need access to a suitable variety of LEGO® bricks, elements and minifigures.

A LEGO® Serious Play® Starter Kit #2000414 can be purchased directly from the LEGO® website in your country of residence.

If you already own an appropriate variety of LEGO® bricks, elements and minifigures, these may be sufficient for completing your training and you do not need to purchase the Starter Kit.

Guidance regarding suitable materials is provided within the program.

Progressive Play® LEGO® Serious Play® Therapeutic Applications in Mental Health Facilitator Certification is professional development.

It does not provide an additional clinical, therapeutic, mental health, allied health or other regulated professional qualification.

Upon completion you will have developed the knowledge, practical skills and experience to confidently facilitate and implement LEGO® Serious Play® workshops and sessions. 

Facilitators remain responsible for using the methodology appropriately within their existing qualifications, competence, professional role, responsibilities and scope of practice.

This is facilitator certification, not train-the-trainer certification. Course content, training materials and Progressive Play® resources are provided for the enrolled participant’s professional use and are not authorised for redistribution or delivery as facilitator training to others.
